Welcome to the Latin Nights & Sights website and blog.    

The event Latin Nights & Sights is scheduled for Friday May 14, 2010 and will raise money for the arts and educational programming at Perkins Center for the Arts.  Proceeds from the event will support the scholarships for students with limited economic means, community arts programs throughout southern New Jersey as well as the creative endeavors of Perkins Center’s professional artists and teachers who enrich our lives with music, visual arts and literature. 

I am grateful to our creative committee of volunteers who are helping us produce an extraordinary event for our guests.  The committee includes the following people:

Committee preparations for this event have been very creative...I'm looking forward to the upcoming Paint Days (April 11 and April 17) at Perkins Center Collingswood. On those dates our artists Dawn Minchin, Paul Serena and any interested volunteers can begin creating the Latin "sights" for our event.

It should be fun and I encourage everyone with a paintbrush and old clothes to join us!
